Guess what? Amazon is changing the game for grocery shopping in certain parts of the U.S., and you don't even need to be a Prime member to join in on the fun. Yep, you heard it right – Amazon's Fresh delivery service is breaking free from the Prime-only club.

So, where's the party at? Well, if you're hanging out in places like Austin, Texas, Boston, Massachusetts, Charlotte, North Carolina, or a bunch of other cool spots, you're in luck. Amazon Fresh is now open for business in these cities, letting you order your groceries online from their stores and warehouses.

Now, for all you non-Prime folks, here's the scoop: If your order is less than $50, there's a little fee involved. For those smaller hauls, it's $13.95. If you're filling up your cart between $50 and $100, it's a $10.95 fee. And hey, if you're going all out with orders over $100, the fee drops to $7.95.

Claire Peters, the bigwig in charge of Amazon Fresh worldwide, shared some exciting news: "We want grocery shopping to be a breeze for everyone, without breaking the bank. That's why we're jazzed to introduce Amazon Fresh delivery to folks in a bunch of U.S. cities, even if they're not Prime members. Now, more people can dive into our awesome grocery experience. Prime members, of course, still get their delivery fees waived and get exclusive savings in-store."

Delivery is keeping it chill for both Prime and non-Prime folks, with the option of a two-hour delivery window. Some lucky areas even get a sweet six-hour window at an even sweeter price.

But wait, there's more! Amazon's got big plans for this party – they're aiming to roll it out everywhere across the U.S. by the end of the year. And rumor has it, they're thinking about adding products from Whole Foods and other grocery stores too. Imagine this: one cart for everything from Whole Foods, Amazon Fresh, and Amazon.com. No more juggling multiple orders – that's a game-changer right there!

Speaking of Amazon Fresh, they've just upped their game in Chicago with upgraded stores. You can find even more goodies and, hold on to your hats, there are Krispy Kreme outlets right there in the store. Donuts while you shop? Yes, please!

Oh, and a little heads-up: Amazon switched things up a bit earlier this year. They started charging for Fresh grocery deliveries under $150. It used to be that Prime members got free delivery for orders over $35. With the new rules, there's a $3.95 fee for orders between $100 and $150, $6.95 for orders between $50 and $100, and $9.95 for orders less than $50.

Amazon's got their Fresh grocery stores and Go convenience stores scattered all around the U.S. They really kicked things up a notch when they joined forces with Whole Foods back in 2017. It's safe to say they're changing the way we think about grocery shopping!
